Can anyone recommend an insurance mover for insuring the contents of a house move (besides the movers)?
I am moving the contents of my house from California to Colorado using the PODS mover and storage - PODS insurance is very expensive and covers virtually nothing so I would approaching to find a reliable insurance company that will cover my belongings during transit and storage

check with a regular insurance agent I'm sure they could find what you need. I own had both Farmers and State Farm and while they are not the cheapest out there, they are obedient and pay quickly if anything happen. So if you don't have any other agent give them a phone up.
Hartford inland marine coverage. Find an agent or broker and ask them to get a quote from them. AIG can probably do it too. But if you hold a homeowners policy in force you should have coverage for your property which covers it anyhere contained by the U.S. already. Look on the dec page and it should be coverage C. But regardless, Hartford should be able to provide all the coverages you obligation, even for storage, just ask an agent.
