Can I claim home and content insurance on stolen produce?

last weekend I had some friends over, some citizens i didnt know rocked up some one must have left the front door unstop, we made them leave, in the morning i discovered my sisters GDH, Ipod, a wii controller and team game, lots off ps2 games and a guitar tuner were missing could this be claimed by insurance? thanx
