Where can I catch 1 week content insurance for up to (and over possibly) lb20,000?
I've got a gig coming up which I am taking some gear to.
This have an insurance value of lb20,000 and so needs to be covered for this amount if it get stolen/damaged.
Where could I get this type of insurance?

Your best bet might be to contact a firm that does 'event' or 'musicians' insurance plenty of these firms offer cover for bands/DJ's etc.
This can cover not solitary your kit, but also give you public liability cover so if it falls on someone's come first or any electrics cause a problem to the venue, then you are covered. This is capably worth considering.
Even if you don't want the liability cover (though in this day and age I'd cause sure you're covered somewhere), the 'musicians' insurers are probably your best bet for theft/damage cover as they are more geared up for 'one-off' type stuff like this. They will also cover theft from vehicle, which a lot of standard policies won't, although there will probably be an other premium involved.
You can get cover for just one event, multiple events or if you do this profoundly (or if you just want damage/theft) annual cover.
