Nationwide Insurance Commercial?!?!?
I hope you know what commericial i am talking about... the one next to the mentally handicapped guy. Why would someone put this man through embarrasement. When i first watched the commercial i laughed because it be funny and so i'm sure half of the world watching it had a few question in their mind... why would they do this AND what was the point of him holding his dog? It be a terrible commericial and a waste of money because i in recent times cannot imagine anyone wanting to buy nationwide insurance after watching this commercial. Anyone else hold any comments on this?
Answers:
The man is blind not mentally handicapped. That's why he has the dog.
I'm pretty sure you missed the total point of the commercial. I would guess that he volunteered to do it.
As a former employee of Nationwide I liked the commercial, as it tries to personalize what is mostly a discomfort in the butt part of everybodies duration...dealing with insurance. Nationwide has long have a history of hiring physically challenged people.
I own no problem with the commercial at all.
I am afraid I do not know the commercial you are referring to. However, near is nothing embarrassing almost being handicapped or disabled. Bad and unfortunate things come to pass to people all the time.
But to answer why they would show a commercial approaching this. There are many disabled people surrounded by the world. And like anyone else they need services, they stipulation insurance and they need to know there are companies that will cater to their individual desires. If a company is too embarrassed or uncomfortable to speak around disabled persons then they are missing out on a immense consumer base.
he is blind, that's why he had the dog and that's why his eyes weren't staying in one place. He isn't mentally handicapped and he wasn't mortal put through embarrassment he was simply making a commercial and talking to people, the merely one that should be embarrassed is you for not getting the whole seeing eye dog situation. And who care if he is handicapped, that doesn't stop him from answering phones and helping out people. get a duration and stop being so ignorant.
The man within the commercial is blind. Nationwide has a new TV selling policy where they are using associates to get out the message that they want to provide competence customer service. By using real employees, they hope to return with out the message that they are sincere in this commitment through all level of the company.
