Is that supposed to be a gay couple surrounded by the Progressive Insurance commercial?
I have seen a commercial for Progressive Insurance, and here are a two guys going in to buy insurance, and while the commercial doesn't specifically say this, I ruminate they are supposed to be a gay couple. Anyone else seen this commercial? What do you think?

I think it's supposed to be, since they're together, but the factor about the watch confused me and I don't reckon they are anymore...
But I still think it was intended to be that way!
A lot of commercials are made in such a way that two society of the same sex in them will be construed by gay populace as being gay and by straight people as one straight- that's the intention of the ad agencies. I also like the Sonic commercials beside the black-haired guy and the blond-haired guy with the flattop.

Progressive is trying to hint that they are gay friendly minus losing their homophobic straight customers. The gays will assume it is two gay guys and straight guys might assume that they are friends, co workers, brothers, etc. It is a very VERY good attempt to be politically correct. they are rewarding both sexualities. I saw it today..i think so..they look at each other,slyly.But what do i know..i didn't know 2 TV masculine crimefighters were suppose to be gay too.starsky and hutch.
That's what I thought at first, but one sells his keep watch on to the other. That's not a very "couple" thing to do, unless they be just kidding...

but the one on the right is definitely gay
