Should we sue our commercial tenant or his insurance or purely make available up?
We own a successful business. Our landlord is a slum lord who refuses to fix a leaky underground room filled with mold, a leaky overhang that runs marine to the inside of our business, and a million other repairs go unaddressed. We have a legal representative who tells us how expensive and time consuming it would be to sue our landlord, though we would credible win. Our landlord is aggressive, he is genuinely crazy and writes crazy post even in response to our lawyer's requests, and we have to maintain paying him rent for the basement expansion space that 3 contractors have deem uninhabitable. We're stuck in a nightmare. Anyone have any obedient advice other than "simply get out of there and forget around it"? Thanks.
