Are the commercials of Esurance and Geico proof that we ARE paying too much for coup¨¦ insurance?
As costly as computer animation is they cant just put a regular actor contained by their commercials...I doubt that Erin Esurance and the Geico Gecko are SAG members!

I sold auto insurance for over 20 years. Geico have a lower rate than the company I represented a majority of the time, I would estimate they were lower about 80% of the time.
My company be lower in the other 20%. Geico doesn't use agents, they market directly by phone & internet which also allows them to be more centralized next to lower overhead expense for offices in thousands of locations.
They're a reputable company & wage claims quickly & fairly, merely like their competition. That's how insurance companies stay in business!! They hold a responsibility to pay every claim their customer is liable for.

Cars are cars too, but some people drive a car costing $50K, when they could bring back one for much less that still takes them where on earth they want. That person wants the extras.
People who use an agent want the extras too, & are prepared to pay a little more for service from someone they congregate face to face, right down the street from home, who know them better than a random voice at an 800 number.
If you understand what your coverages protect you against & how much is appropriate for you, afterwards Geico or Esurance are quality companies and a good fit for you. Insurance is insurance, they will adjectives screw you when its time to pay up. But since its law to hold, might as well pay the lowest possible in as you will get the lowest possible out.

Not really. They're freshly advertising. I was beside GEICO for a number of years and was other satisfied with the cost and service. I singular switched when I became eligible for coverage through USAA, by far the best company on the planet.
The animation on the Esurance ads isn't exactly adjectives edge. The actors who do the voice probably are SAG members though as unknowns they probably get league scale which isn't all that much. And the "actors" on the up to date (extremely annoying, IMHO) GEICO ads aren't exactly the hottest names surrounded by Hollywood today.
I dunno but I like Erin! She's the merely reason I bothered checking out Esurance. I didn't buy a policy through them but I did check them out. Insurance is a major scam any route!
