Question more or less the geico saloon insurance commercial?

its the one where the caveman is sitting with the shrink,at the end his cell phone rings and tells the consultant its his mother and he is going to put it on speaker....my girlfriend who is a therapist says he is making refferance to froyd,is that the message here?..or my notion is he trying to make it known he up to date by have a cell phone, with technology in nonspecific, what does the end of the commercial mean??
Answers:
I haven't seen that particular commercial, but the Geico ones are really funny. I don't deliberate there's anything Freudian about the caveman answering his mother's call, and you're probably closer to the theory than your girlfriend. Think about it for a minute. A caveman with a cell phone? Is nearby not an anachronism there? I think what the advert is trying to show is the contrast between the days of the Neanderthal and the age of technology, and the absurdity of the situation. It's simply designed to get people's attention so they'll examine the commercial, and who knows -- maybe switch to Geico?
it's probably expected to be a joke, because therapist tend to blame the parents, especially the mother, so perchance it is Fruedian...
i dream up you need to get a girl friend or somthing.........
I judge you need to take your girlfriend out more. One can be too Freudian.
