#1. What was the ticket for? Street Sweeper? You don't get hold of a ticket for a parked car UNLESS you were inside of it next to keys in the ignition, and IF that be the case...sorry Charlie... if you can't do the time... don't do the crime.. i.e.. NOT buying insurance when ya purchased the car WHICH IS THE LAW within MOST states that i am aware of and well if it was cancelled, in that was a reasonnn,
:: singing: so, uhhh puh, still YOUR CRIME.
Most states own a law that says any motor parked or driven on a public street has to be insured.
You could try and fight it..but the probability are against you.
If your car be driven OR parked on a public road, it must have insurance coverage. Unless it was parked surrounded by your garage or on property you own, and the person came up in that to hit it, you will have to pay the no insurance ticket.
You enjoy to have insurance on any car you own....so yes you hold to pay the ticket.
the problem with you fighting it is that it be on a public street .you can however plead your case to the courts for at least a reduced fine
Yes you do have to repay the ticket - every vehicle regardless of if it's in motion or not on the road, must own insurance! It is illegal in any state not to convey continuous liability insurance on a registered vehicle.
