it does not matter what the color is but ok after...it depends on what company you go with...i enjoy allstate and they charged extra for my navigator because i payed over $35,000 for it...hope you didnt pay too much for it
It'll vary depending if its a GT or V6.

I would go to a site like progressive and find out. Chances are because you are a) 17, b) a minor c) a mannish d) have a sportscar you will pay complex than someone like me. Depending on your driving history it may be higher. You can gain it lowered if you took a drivers course before you got your liscence and if you return with good grades in college. It's going to be expensive either way but everyone's quotes are different because near are other factors to consider like driving conditions & state law (like FL is a no-fault state).
As an insurance agent anything they want to charge it probably won't be enough. I would imagine that $4,000+ might be a apt place to start.
As the first responder stated teens and muscle cars are a bad mix and in my 32 years contained by the insurance business I have attended too many funerals of kids close to you. No matter how responsible you think you are you don't own the experience to handle that much car even if it is a 6 cylinder Mustang.
My mis-spent youth skilled me some good lessons so much so that I would uplift any parent to never give their kid a Mustang. I would suggest that you consider a Toyotta Echo instead, no one will want to drag see you and the car is so ugly you will probably not want to drive it anywhere where on earth you will be seen. Then you would have a flawless chance to see your 18th birthday and beyond. Source(s): Many, many years of insurance experience and attending funerals of immature men who thought they were better drivers than the actually be.
The color of the car isn't a factor, but the type of car and age of the driver are.
Teens and Mustangs don't own a very good history near one another, and the insurance rates will reflect that.
Since you gave no other information, such as where on earth you live, whether you've taken driver's education classes, what sort of grades you have, and whether you've have any previous accidents or tickets, or the level of coverage on the coupé, it is impossible to determine what car insurance should cost on this car.
It is carnival to say, however, that teens and performance vehicle don't mix well in most cases, and the insurance company considers the combination a severe risk, and prices the policy suitably.
In other words, while I can't determine by the information provided what insurance coverage would cost, I can say with event certainty that it will be VERY expensive.
$40.00 a month
