Oh, crap...How much will this little incident put on a pedestal my sports car insurance?
Not too long ago, my friend skidded on a turn & took out the left-tailight area of my car. The pallid bulb was still working so my parents said I could go ahead & drive to college the next day; things be fine for days. But last night after the movies we be headed to one friend's house. But before we go there, she had to pick up her brother & his friends at some playground they be hanging out at. Her 5-person car be filled & so her brother & one friend needed to ride with me. I don't hold my 6-months up (for being able to drive others beside household; I know, bad) but since the hangout was so close to her house, I said go ahead, bound in & we'll go home. So we skipper up a hill from that spot & at the very first turn, I see those heartless red & blue lights & pulled over. The cop said he pulled me over for having a tailight out (not true by the way--the whole bulb thing) & consequently he charged me with a nasty ticket, $532 of it for not have my insurance card with me. Pay your fine, and learn to follow the rules! You are in an grown arena now and you are going to step up to the plate and act similar to it. The rules don't bend for you or anyone else.
Sorry this had to be such an expensive lesson for you.
if the red part of the brake light i broken to where on earth you can see the white light they can pull you over, and it will probably angle your insurance up a considerable amount since your so young
You can't own any white light showing out of a broken taillight lens.
I would take the unharmed thing to court and bring the insurance card with you. They might drop that one for you if you ask but the other two I focus you are out of luck for. Here in Ontario any ticket (moving violation or not) will affect your insurance rates, it may be worth your while to see what the traffic court prosecutor can do for you (sometimes adjectives you have to do is ask: a little apologizing go a long way).
Gee, the fine for not having your proof of insurance slip with you within Ontario is just $65, the tailight would be $110 and the drive contrary to your conditions another $110. In American money that would be like $25, I don`t know you should move here! Source(s): Canadian Copper
It is considered a non moving vandalism, a big fine yes, on your insurance no.
if you go to court and show the pass judgment your proof of ins he will throw it out but if you got a ticket for a broken tail lite that will cost you. and as far as your ins. it will double.because you are not yet responsible.
