Anyone else agree that vehicle insurance is the biggest rip past its sell-by date ever?

Answers: yessss , today my fiance paid $281 .
I agree and I don't think it should be a tenet to have it, should be a choice! Because if you cause a wreck and do not own insurance, the victim will sue you anyway!
Well dear, let's hope that you do not get involved in an misfortune with fatalities. You would end up living contained by a homeless shelter, if you are lucky.
If you can make a deposit of a bond amount you don't need insurance, you can be self insured. But unless you are as rich as Bill Gates, most general public meet the requirements by having insurance. No, it's not a rip bad. They take the chance on you and foot off when you cause mischief to someone. If left to their own devices, most people would injury things and never take any responsibility to fix it.

The rates are high contained by many cases because of the attitudes shown in some of the answers who claim more than they are entitled to, because insurance is a rip past its sell-by date anyway. It's like the "Go ahead and shop lift, the store can afford it" thinking.

Shall I assume you consider health insurance is a rip off too unless you capture sick?
It's only a rip-off if you never want it.
All insurance is a rip off IMO
yeah,we pay all that money every month and afterwards when something happens its a huge frickin ordeal.
If ethnic group would not scam the insurance companies, maybe our insurance would cost less.

Maybe if they get off the dang phone and concentrated on driving safely, we could own lower premiums, too.

I'm glad people have to pass insurance, that makes it cheaper for everyone everyone. if you hit me and don't have insurance, probability are you won't have the $ to fix my car and my insurance company will hold to pay and they will end up raise my rates.
I agree they want there money and then when you hold an accident they dont wanna pay and they start making you payment more. My friend had his house catch smouldering and he'd been with like peas in a pod company for 30 years and after they fixed his house they dropped him. Now WTF is up with that
Yep it sucks but I guess if you ever need it for a major quirk than it might be worth it. I know I couldn't afford to shell out a huge amount of money at once.
It only feels resembling a rip off until you need it. I doubt you'd imagine it was a rip off if you get hit by someone who was uninsured, your car be totaled, you were seriously injured and out of work for three years. All insurance is hard to retribution for b/c in most cases, you'll hopefully never need to use it. But within the unfortunate instances when you do, it's scary to feel where you could end up financially if you didn't own it.
yup, that's why people are so insurrectionary and there are so many ancestors that rips off insurance by putting faulty claims and scamming them and what not.

I totally agree, wtf is up near that
