I go with Endsleigh when I passed at 19. Also try a comparison site like www.moneysupermarket.com.
Jst keep shopping around.Ask daddy if you can stay on his insurance a touch longer till you reach 25 and then you will probably catch a cheaper premium...Just keep shopping around
i use direct procession... and they are quite good, for price... the bigger ones back by bigger companies are best, cos they have buying power...

however - the whole insurance entity is rubbish really, cos they never look after you when things go wrong... bad experience...

correct luck... or use a local broker, they will look after you... you pay a little premium but after all is good...

You can only shop around.
I own a lot of sympathy for you, as I'm sure you will have to reimburse a small fortune till you get a little elder and maybe build up a fair 'no claims' bonus.
That is the problem...teen drivers trying to receive in without a ancient history are charged the maximum just because...and the insurance industry thinks they are right....But sometime you will own to be on your own....be as close to the age of 25 and thirty as you can ...to save money. Otherwise as long as you live at home, pay dad and tolerate him keep you on his policy...
I would try to get a quote from Geico. We hold a 20 year old with a TERRIBLE driving history so we kicked him off our insurance and he was competent to get a decent quote from them.
try confused.com
Fully comp will be illustrious - and you've not built up a no claims bonus under your own steam.

You may consider third party fire and thieving, but if you can afford it, go for full comprehensive.

Confused.com is a good site, but any local insurance brokers within the high street are helpful.
As you are driving an dated model car, you are better off going next to a local broker, as a lot of the tv advertised ones tend to operate with newer cars which are easier and more economical to repair, and do not usually provide third party fire & stealing cover. With the age of your car, T.P.F & T is your best bet as it will not be worth the extra outlay for fully comp. I am in my 50's and tried the ones for my age group - 20% more expensive than Churchill !! Source(s): Good luck surrounded by your search
