I have Admial last year, whilst the queues on the phone be long, when you did get through, they helped but for a charge!.
the issue i had i changed from a company car to my own policy for the 1st time on 5years, the ex firm wrote me a formal communication, but admiral wouldnt accept i had not have any accidents, i told them to liaise directly with them (ex firm), they refuse. but we got there contained by the end. but they give you deeply short notice to act on any info they emergency, and threaten you with increased premiums if you dont act immedialty. i be asked to more info they sent a letter for more info, if they did not get a formal response from my firm next to 7days i would be charged hundreds of pounds more and theres nothing you can do about as they charge you card again! so study out. but yo pay for what you get

I heard this second hand - but I take to mean that young drivers have a liability excess on their policies - which medium that if they have a claim they would have to settle the first lb250 or so of the other person's losses. If true, I only know of one other company (Easygroup) that also imposes these excesses.
