Insurance is cheaper, gas mileage is great. Just don't try and transport home a ton of groceries. If you've never been on a bike - you should take a class to swot to ride in adverse weather and in difficult driving conditions. I love my bike - basically not the rain we get 9 months a year. On the otherhand, my girlfriend call ‘em donor-cycles, and she’s an ICU nurse.
I think they are far cheaper to run which is always moral when living in the UK with our petrol prices, but as far as sanctuary goes, they can be a death sentence, not because of who's riding the bike but because of other drivers doing a tour just not paying attention. I wouldnt fancy a guy more of late because he was a biker!
