Why does the color red on a vehicle make your insurance payments superior?

Answers: Someone did a study and found that red cars were in more accident and had been involved surrounded by more traffic violations than any other color. I have hear this many times in my vivacity when dealing with cars.
thats a big fat urban myth. insurance could care smaller number what color your car is.
red is one of the most difficult colors for the human eye to see at night
I've have five red cars in my life (currently ride is 2004 BMW 330C1 - Electric Red, 1st Daughter have red Ford Focus, 2nd Daughter has red VW New Beetle) and my insurance agency has never asked what color they are.

They DON'T CARE.
IT DOESN'T! Colour has zilch to do with the insurance rate. Call for an estimate, tell them you are thinking of getting a different vehicle, and distinguish colour doesn't come into the equation. IT'S AN URBAN MYTH, fuelled by the fact so many cars close to Corvette are red, and a Corvette of any colour is going to cost more to insure than your K-Car. I am a licenced insurance broker and registrations agent, and I don't need to know what colour your car is until I am if truth be told registering and insuring it. And guess what? Red cars don't get more speeding tickets, either, only in case that be the next myth anybody here was going to believe.

Vehicle color does not impact premiums.

if reality they never ask
Cause the color draws more attention and therefore more substantial to more accident
Insurance companies don't remains premiums off of what color your car is. It go off of the year, make, model, garage address, and your driving dictation.
Red means FAST
