I got a quote from the AA, and then phoned churchhill to see what would evolve. They beat it by lb10
When I get a quote from the AA earlier this year it was almost 3 times what I concluded up paying.

This link is to a guide on how to get the cheapest insurance possible contained by the UK, basicly it involves useing 2 or 3 comparison sites because non of them check every insurer, and it lists the insurers who you have to go and get a quote from directly as they are not on any comparison site, eg Direct Line.
I would say that the AA is one of the dearest - I'm a contestant, and they've never got anywhere near any quotes I hold.
I always use http://www.confused.com every year for renewal, but I understand that Churchill guarantee to overthrow any similar quote as long as you have some no claims bonus.
Run your details through confused, they check AA's pricing too.
For car insurance the deliberate way to get a fantastic quote is do a policy comparison on saloon policies. Make certain that you pick similar options near the same deductibles, car type, closure code, etc so that all options are an accurate comparison.
What I usually recommend is an internet comparison quote at http://www.InsureAutoNow.info since they enjoy big name insurers and can give plentiful quotes on car insurance polices.
deakin_87, For auto insurance the quickest method to get a cheap quote is do a policy comparison. If you choose like coverage levels, you can get an accurate quote to compare against others. Use impossible to tell apart coverage area, car make/model, mileage and driving history to fashion sure you get an apples to apples comparison. To get vigorous auto insurance quotes, go to http://www.usinsuranceadvisor.com/Auto-I… and you can compare the major auto insurance companies.
Well after allot of searches i have come across
this co. that is Norwich Union but you still have to do a bit of a
research up to that time getting into anything and yeah
for information check this site out
i felt it interesting when i was going through it

There will definitely be cheaper around. Go on Tesco compare and they will give you a test of quotes.
yeah, they are not cheap at all. You should shop around the comparison sites.
There's some three or four UK ones surrounded by here

Source(s): I always ask EVERYONE'S price and only THEN I buy from the cheapest. It might appropriate 4 hours but if I save 400 quid then that's 100 quid an hour.
Just about anyone is cheaper than the AA for insurance...
try this site its a obedient online company therefore you don't have to lurk for insurance docs in the mail and they are unbelievably cheap.
www.swiftcover.com
The AA are insurance brokers. They have a scheme near Aviva (it's called Norwich Union this week), but it's not necessarily the cheapest. They also use other companies. You've got the internet - shop around. Try the diverse "compare" sites and then try going direct to the companies they recommend. While you're at it, try Direct Line (they are cheap, so long as you don't actually want to clear a claim - but they don't deal through the AA or comparison sites) and MoreThan (they offer a big discount to go and get your business, then hope you don't go through their net site next year).
Yes. You can get much much cheaper. Shop around. Source(s): Tried them myself.
We don't like to blow our own trumpet at Swiftcover :-) but we were voted the cheapest by moneysupermarket within 2007 and 2008.
