Multiple vehicle insurance policy for one motor?

Hi, I just bought insurance for my car. however my previous policy did not expire however and i dont want to cancel it. can i have two policies on one saloon?
Answers:
Cancel it and try to receive the money difference. Or better yet don't start your new policy until the elderly one expires.
You should be able to retroactively quash your old policy, and the carrier is required to return you any monies paid for time that is unfamiliar. I see no reason to keep it stirring, as you can only legally profile a claim with one company or the other.
You can, but it does not make sense. Cancel the old policy.
Help yourself - you can smoothly check your quotes in internet, for example here - car-insurance.66ghz.com

yes, but you will pay twice the amount, and if/when you get contained by an accident they will meet contained by court to see who has to pay the damages.
You can have two policies covering like car but in the event of a claim you can with the sole purpose claim on one policy, so what is the point?
simply cancel your old policy.
