Can i put my saloon insurance on hold for 6 months?
I have to go to court and if i seize banned for the topping up points can i put my car insurance on hold for 6 month?
No they will not let you do that, you can cancel it and attain about 3 months of the 12 back contained by premiums but that will pale into insignificance compared to what the premium is going to cost when you start driving again.
Having a valid licence will be a condition of the insurance policy so you will have no leeway other than to surrender/cancel the policy.
Note - to avoid fiurther trouble, make sure the uninsured sports car is not left parked on the public road as it can be taken away and crushed if it is and you will be on the local hotlist for a while if you are banned.

ofcourse you can..you can put it on hold for as long as you can because I in recent times reactivated my insurance after 5 months...it just continues as normal and don't affect anything. If you're too unsure of my answer after have a word with your insurance company...tc
