Answers:
It depends on the policy, but within general you need to be added to the policy contained by order to be covered unless you don't live at the same address.
All members of your parents household and any other regular worker of the vehicles must be listed as drivers on your parents policy. Failure to do so is a objects misrepresentation and will jeopardize coverage. When you get your own car you can attach the vehicle to your parents policy or buy a separate policy. If you live within the household, you need to be listed on their policy. What will evolve if you have an accident is that the insurance will recompense, but usually drops the policy, or it skyrockets b/c a driver was not listed. well yes and no. you see they are suppose to have you put on in attendance insurance. in fact anyone that lives surrounded by the house that has license have to be put on the insurance.
You should be added contained by their insurance policy.
You can compare how their quotes will change after adding you within internet, for example here - car-insurance.66ghz.com
Hi,

You need to be listed as a driver on your parents insurance. When you bring back your own car check out the source I've listed below (you're parents can check it out too and it would probably release them money but lots of people don't like change). They enjoy great rates, especially for new drivers whose policies are really expensive with other companies.

Good luck! Source(s): www.landainsurance.com
