What to do when your saloon is stolen and you enjoy no insurance?
My car was stolen yesterday, the coup¨¦ is on and there's the key in it, but we're not within the car, so these 2 guys just grasp on it and crash it into another parked car and then they keep hold of running.
Actually, we do have insurance but it's just if you hit somebody or dilapidated then you'll get salaried but not when its stolen or lost.
what should we do now. we haven't reported it yet
Answers:
Even if your insurance covered for theft, you would not be covered because you left the key in the ignition with the coup¨¦ still running.. you should report it to the police because of the damage to the other vehicle. Hopefully you will learn from this..
I would report it to the police simply as you described. At some point or another the police will come looking for you, you don't want that.
Worst case scenario you will pay for the property mischief caused to the vehicles - if the court finds you inattentive for leaving the keys within the car.
Best case scenario - you will not enjoy to pay anything out of pocket, except for your own damage, because you be not driving.
Either way I think you'll extremity up in court to figure out what will come about - find a good attorney to represent you. If you had insurance - your insurance company would enjoy paid for the lawyer.

:reported it yet" -- I assume you niggardly you have not reported the car stolen however:
Since the car has already crashed into another vehicle....the police probably will not lift a theft report.
You're going to have to know how to explain why you waited over 24 hours after your car be stolen and crashed into someone else's vehicle before you decided to contact ruling enforcement.
Cops are going to hear that story....and it will translate as "we were drunk and driving home and crashed the car into some parked cars. We run home and fell asleep. Today we woke up, remembered what we did and came up with the bright hypothesis to report the car stolen".
If that's the case....that's not going to work. I've see that story too many times and the cops have see it even more.
If you only have liability, that will clear for the damage to the other cars. So go ahead and contact your insurance company more or less that (If "we haven't reported it yet" means you have not notify your insurance company).
In order to have your vehicle paid for, you have to hold collision coverage.
(If the insurance companies buys the "car was stolen" view you would have to have comprehensive coverage). Source(s): Insurance Adjuster 12 years
You get to pay for the wound to your own vehicle and for the damage to the other vehicle and any other damages.
Insurance covers life's "IFs." You don't have that coverage so you basically learned an expensive lesson.
Be thankful it is not more expensive such as someone individual hurt.
You step.
If you have no theft insurance, you enjoy no theft insurance. You still need to report the police report. If you moved it AFTER it was crashed into another car, they'll be wanting to fingerprint to prove that within WAS someone else in the car.
It's extremely unusual, for you to be standing subsequent to your car, with the key in it, have the vehicle stolen, have it hit another car, later have the bad guys run away, adjectives within your sight.
It's much more plausible, odds, that you're lying about it, and YOU hit that parked vehicle.
