(Toronto, Canada) Why is sports car insurance mandatory? And why do I have need of it to legaly drive?
What if I drive someone elses car and obviously they wont enjoy my name in their insurance. Is that legally recognized? even if their insurance is not third party?
Answers:
Cars are insured, not people. If you drive an insured sports car, with permission and a valid drivers license, you will be covered
It's mandatory to protect the inhabitants you hit. And so you don't have to declare personal ruin when they sue you. I don't know the particular law within Toronto.
