How much more will it cost to include my husband to my sports car insurance policy?

Right now I pay $136 every 6 months. Occasionally he take my car, but usually drives his (insured) scooter to work. Have only be married 3 months, so haven't changed my policy yet. I'm 55, he's 51 with a verbs record. If he is only an occasional driver does it engender a big difference?

For car insurance the quick style to get a good rate is do a rate comparison on motor policies. Make sure that you choose similar options with duplicate limits, car model, location, etc so that adjectives things are an accurate comparison.

What I usually recommend is an internet comparison quote at http://www.lowratetoday.com since they have lots of insurers and can give abundant quotes on auto insurance polices.

You'll get a discount for being married. Married population get cheaper rates. If he has clothed credit and a clean MVR your payments might actually lower, I've see it happen all the time. Source(s): Licensed Agent
If he has no losses or violation (tickets) then adding him as a driver would not cost any extra. In certainty, it would more than likely give you a discount because you would receive a married credit (depending on the company).
It shouldn't make any difference, since both of you are in the best rate group for auto insurance. Do include him as a driver, though, since insurance companies don't like surprises.
