I own a rental saloon insurance cross-examine.?

Whenever I rent a car the clerks' invariably tell me that if I'm contained by an accident the rental company will charge me for everyday the car is out of service. They further inform me that my personal auto insurance won't cover the rental company's "out of service" charges. They report to me that full payment for the rental is expected everyday until the car is fixed.

Is that true? If so, what’s the best mode to handle it? Should I just knuckle down and buy their ridiculously giant insurance? Thanks

Your personal auto insurance probably isnt going to compensate their fee's however you can call your company and ask. You should pay the fee's one because it does cover the ENTIRE cost of the saloon you are renting. It sucks but just think if the coupé is stolen while you have it rented you will be protected knowing you payed a little extra for that coverage.
most people will report to you no

and if your personal coverage and your credit card company offer coverage they may be right.

but for example when I rent with Enterprise I income $15 a day for their full coverage.

that means if I wreck that motor, you virtually walk away without paying a cent.

in a minute they have conditions, you can't be drunk etc.

but otherwise you have to pay envelope your insurance deductible and will possibly have an increased rate in the adjectives.

so to me it's worth it.

you have to look at your own coverage and decide. Source(s): ,,^._.^,,
If a rental company told me that ,,the next thing I would do is phone my insurance company,,and verify that,,and if that were the case,,I would check beside other rental agencies.. If in fact this is a usual policy of a rental company,,I would no longer rent cars..Accidents do happen occasionally,,and the fact that your insurance is covering your rental,, should pocket care of any circumstances that should come up.. They can bill you for days out of service of the vehicle,,However, you would then dispute the bill ,which money, they must PROVE that there was no other vehicle available for rental on the days yours was out of service, throughout their close proximate areas,, and they can't prove it !! Then by you disputing the charge,,they can't send it to collections,,so its on them to establish proof.. They are hoping you would purely pay it to avoid getting a lawyer and aggression it..Because its near impossible for them to PROVE everyone of their cars were out while your rental be in shop!! Like YOU said,,they want you to buy their ridiculously high insurance.. I other use my own,, and my insurance agent just told me this tidbit of information.. HAPPY RENTING !! SOLOMON
