What is the cost of insurance if i buy an evo at 17 years ancient?
im currently 16 and my parents promised me that i can get an evo if i do wll on my sats, andi turn 17 late feb and i will be getting my license precipitate march. i am also an a b student mostly a's. my question is.... what would my cost of insurance be if i buy the evo and put it lower than my parents name (both never get tickets or into accidents), i know that the insurance company will still charge me extra for even have that car in the policy, but would my insurance be approaching 3k for a year? being that i am a boy in an evo
I believe those enjoy the highest insurance of almost any common vehicle. You could probably expect to spend at least possible $250-300 per month on full coverage insurance on a new one. This varies profoundly by where you live as well though.
I agree next to j2b40. Even though EVO's are cool looking and nice, the STi beats it on all standards. It's cheaper on insurance for a time bit too. And they hold their value like a Honda would. But if that doesn't situation, it will cost you over 1k a year for insurance. Depends on the year. And before you buy an EVO, check the turbos!! Otherwise you're screwed if that turbo goes out. You'll owe 20k on a vehicle worth 8k because of the turbo that is wasted.
"> i doubt it'll be over 1k a year, im 17 and drive a 03 infiniti g35 2door, and i be in a "act of god wreck" near my first car (im miss it) im on my parents policy and it's a lil over 1k a year , which i dont consider to be bad next to all things considered, and i pay for my insurance Source(s): experience
they are desperate investments the subies are much more reliable. as for the evo's the transfer cases and other main integral components are specified to fail prematurely (like 25k). the evo is a cheesy poorly manufactured ripoff of a wrx. one of my close friends is a mitsu dealer and he get them back all messed up adjectives the time. he says they are the biggest waste of money nearby is. besides they have like no resale merit. as for the ins it would be not much since its under your parents.
