Car Rental Insurance - Which is compulsory h to buy except US citizen?

I am not a US citizen., but will be renting a car for 2 weeks from Payless. Will need proposal as to what is the necessary car insurance to buy if :-

1. The luck is not due to my fault ?
2. If it is due to my fault.

I hold travel insurance which covers me for medical insurance due to accident but not the other party , and also have a deductible for car rental.
Answers:
I assume you are coming into the USA. If so you can decline cover with your saloon rental company, however, I would get it if you don't have it elsewhere.

You will be offered two types of insurance:
1 - CDW or collision incapacitate waiver
2 - 3rd party liability

Your credit card company should provide collision damage waiver insurance which will cover your break to your car only.

That leaves you next to liability insurance, you should get this from your car rental company as it is usually not offered anywhere else.

Your travel insurance should cover you for medical for more info research policies at http://www.squaremouth.co.uk and http://www.squaremouth.com.
You purchase doesn`t matter what payless has available for a day rate. Not mortal a citizen you don't have a choice.
