Laptop insurance for a laptop bought outside of the UK.?
Hi, I'm trying to insure a Macbook bought last month in the UK but I can't find any insurance providers who will insure a laptop bought outside the UK. Also, I will be spending like mad of time on mainland Europe so it needs to be insured there too.
Any serve would be really appreciated!

if you take out personal belongings cover on your home insurance, it is covered anywhere in the world for loss or bring down. if your policy is new for old after it wont matter how much you paid for it or where on earth you bought it as they would replace like for like.

Tell the insurers it has a permit of authenticity, you may have to prove this so they know it is not a copy, I brought a compaq in HK also and hold no problem with insurance.
