Should the rule force individuals to buy energy insurance?

Better safe than sorry, right?

Life insurance?

Of course, not.
What exactly does this have to do beside Global Warming?

Government should NOT force ANYONE to do ANYTHING!
We should make own choice.
We should put in the picture government what to do, not vice-verse.
No. If you die and you don't have energy insurance, you're just not protecting your family as much as you could be. You're not putting anyone else at risk.

But the political affairs does force people to buy car insurance because if you receive in a crash, you're also doing harm to the those you crash into. You're not just putting yourself at risk - you need to be prepared to compensate the other human being. Same thing with intercontinental warming, except on a much larger scale.

Excellent argument for reducing carbon emission. Well done.

*edit* Randall, reducing CO2 emissions isn't going to prevent you from commuting to work. You love those strawmen, don't you?

I know you don't believe that CO2 is causing climate adjust, but the experts do. I don't believe I'm going to get into a car stroke of luck, but I have to get sports car insurance anyway.

*edit 2* As I'm sure you know Randall (since we've explained this to you about 100 times), you can't prove a scientific proposal. You can't prove that I'll crash my car either, but I'm still forced to buy the insurance.
