Can I buy a Motorcycle if I hold no insurance?

Hey I know I need insurance to legally ride a motorcycle but Will I involve insurance when I go to purchase my bike? I just dont want to sign up for insurance, stir and try to buy the bike, and than they turn me down so I have to drop the insurance you know what i mean. If they do permit me buy the bike can I sign up for insurance right there on the spot at the dealership? or will I need insurance since I go there to buy it? or can I buy it minus any insurance? Thankss

If you will be making payments on it, you will probably need proof of insurance before you pinch it off the lot. I would advise getting a quote from anyone but the dealership. You can buy a motorcycle lacking insurance, but not get plates (in most States) or drive it.
