Does anyone own any recommendation for classic automobile insurance?
I have a ' 69 Camaro and am in the marketplace for insurance. What companies are good? and which ones should I stay away from?
Answers:
Most classic motor insurance companies are good. I use American Modern. Keep in mind here are restrictions on classic car policies. You can't use these cars as everyday use vehicles and you'll own to prove you have a different car (and insurance) for your everyday use wants. Most companies have minimum age 25 requirements for drivers as well.

you need alot of money
not allstate, they have problems paying up on claims. try geico, progressive
American Collectors -if it is within good condition (almost show worthy). this is mainly for classic cars that are unused to commute. just for pleasure use etc.
You can get cheap rates from a bunch of carrier, but most personal auto policies only cover "actual cash value" which is "replacement cost LESS depreciation"- so even though the "full coverage" rate looks good- the sports car isn't covered the same way it would be if you have "classic car" coverage.
Good Luck!
We have Grundy's World Wide. We found them to be the cheapest and have less restriction. All 4 of our Plymouth Cuda's are covered through them. Check em out. There is also Hagerty Collector Network. Source(s): http://www.grundy.com/
