Can truck drivers catch a discounted rate on their auto insurance for their personal vehicle?

My fiance gets many benefits as a truck driver, and it only just makes sense that this would be another one that companies would offer. I imply, he drives all the time anyway. Does anyone know of any companies that do this? Thanks in credit for your answers.

While I dont know about an actual discount just because of man a driver, my husband and I have had our policy reduced slightly due to the class of the license he holds. If he drives a semi and not basically a cube van or whatever, then yes.. sort of.

You are considered a better driver if you are a professional, as you spend more time doing a tour. You just need the license to 'prove' it.

Just ask when you're getting a quote.
