I put surrounded by a claim beside my auto insurance co. I hit 2 trees 1 within reverse and 1 contained by forward trying?
I was trying to pull my wifes coup¨¦ out of the mud . The insurance co. deducted twice my deductable, they said it was considered 2 accident, since I was in reverse and after in drive. Does anyone have any planning on where I can go to find the Texas State insurance rules/laws on this problem? Besides a advocate

I sell insurance contained by Ohio, but you should check with your state department of insurance. It sounds to me that this is correct, since it was 2 separate occurrence, however I am not licensed in Texas so I dont know for sure
You don't need a site or a lawyer, it is 2 accident. If you had hit one tree, and bounced into the other, it would be one. But you drove into one, then drove into the other. If you hit the vehicle in front, then the motor in back, ram into a parking spot too small, it would be 2 accidents as well. That is surrounded by every state and province, take it from me, I am a licenced insurance broker. Sorry.
Brokers have nought to do with the adjustment of your claims, or the assessment of deductibles. Adjusters handle the claim. The biggest involvement a licenced broker can own is to report the claim.
And you did leave the scene of the first accident. You departed the tree you hit, then went to the subsequent tree. LOLOL!!
Google it!
Hi there!...Ok, I researched this for you...
It's kinda long, so you better check it out yourself...

Of course it's two separate incidents. You were in reverse, you hit a tree. Then you put it surrounded by drive and hit another tree. Accident number two, one deductible for each accident. Next time ring the tow truck, it's cheaper in the long run and damage free.
If you back out of a parking place and hit another car, then vanished to go home and hit a parking meter after you left that would be two separate accident also. Why do you see it as a problem?
