After have my auto insurance cancelled what is the best company to procure anew policy through?

I just recently have my policy cancelled because I never recvd my statement and missed my payment. I have be asking around and it seems like no company will work next to me even though this is not my fault. I had my motor policy cancelled when I was 17 and a stupid kid, so this is my second cancellation within 9 years of driving. What should I do? By the way, I live in MA.

You won't find a "best"--in certainty you will be very lucky to find any company that will take you after person canceled. I'd call Progressive if I were you, they work next to those that are hard to insure and need the SR22 file.

Why did you not receive a statement? Did you move and not forward your mail? Even without a statement, you should know when it's due, and a nickname to your agent would have fixed it. They don't cancel the daylight after you miss a payment, they usually give you at tiniest 30 days to reinstate your policy, so I feel you are leaving profoundly out here.

Nonetheless, I do wish you well.
Whatever company you can find that will insure you, at this point. I found out a long time ago that not delivery a statement is not a valid excuse. You should do what I do and have your premium deducted from your description on a specific day of the month. I never have to verbs about missing a payment.
Firstly, to find the right insurance for you I would move about to a broker who can put all of your info in a rater and come up beside the best premium for you.

Secondly, usually when you start the policy they give you a pay plan that list all of the dates and amounts of your payments for the entire residence of your policy. If you never get a bill you are still responsible for making payments. Another thing to remember is that most companies do not provide you a flat 30 days after your payment is due before you are canceled. A lot of companies are equity base so the number of days before cancellation is determined by how much you've rewarded into the policy. In theory, if you have no equity built up within the policy they have every right to cancel you even if your expenditure is one day late.
Sorry, but it IS your idiosyncrasy and resposibility to make payments on time. Most companies do not retract on the date you owe the money on and also send out a cancellation spot as a reminder. Now you are rated as High Risk and will be paying much higher rates for 3 years.
