Cheapest & Best Auto/Motorcycle Insurance?

Can people please share what they think is the cheapest & best insurance? We currently enjoy state farm & feel we're getting ripped past its sell-by date.

We have 2 vehicles
93' Ford F150 (owned, no payments)
00' Chevy Cavalier (owned, no payments)
83' Honda Sabre(Motorcycle, owned, no payments)

THANK YOU!

Also, why do they ask for a SS# when you apply? Are here any companies who dont? I hope theyre not checking my credit score =( I'm trying to raise it!
Answers:
try one of the online comparisons and see what they come up beside for you. probably progressive.
if you go with fundamental liability and your state's minimum coverage, you should get by ok. adding comp and coll raise the cost.
they were correct with the ss# and credit gain info used to base your rates.
Not everyone will even insure motorcycles anymore. We have great rates beside Allstate for our home and cars, but with the hubby's last bike they said they didn't do them, so we terminated up with Progressive. I know Progressive and Geico are both good for bikes.

SSN, I don't hark back to giving mine, I've had my same policy so long now. I could be wrong though.

As far as your age, near won't be much difference, but if you are married you usually get better rates that way.
I'm surrounded by Chicago, and I have AAA for my auto insurance. They are, by far and away, the cheapest in my nouns. I shop around every 6 months to keep them honest and noone comes close. Not sure what the people you are insuring driving diary is like, but assuming it is good, you should check into it.

Unfortunately, AAA does not insure Motorcycles. I use Progressive to insure my '95 Kawasaki Vulcan. I would jump with either Geico or Progressive, whichever is cheaper. If your bike is an '83, later the insurance should be dirt cheap if you get liability only.

They ask for SS# so that they can check your credit. Insurance companies believe that the better your credit ranking, the more responsible you are. The more responsible you are, the better driver you are. There have been greatly of studies on this and Insurance companies buy into it.
Not all companies require the SS# for a quote, but many do.

These days, beside the price of cars and going to the hospital, You will want at least 100,000/300,000 (individual/accident) liability with $50,000 within property damage protection and uninsured motorist protection. You will not need to verbs about a deductible if you get liability lone, but if you do get full-coverage, a $500 deductible is good.

Also, for adjectives reference, if you ever get a newer vehicle, you will need to look into your coverages again and consider full-coverage.
