I enjoy two auto insurances at the time of calamity. Can I claim it to both or simply one. If individual one after which

Dear Expert

I have moved from Michigan to Boston. I had an A insurance within Michigan expiring on end of March. I couldn't find an A insurance in Boston so I enrol with B insurance starting january. I had a big fluke on February so I need to replace the old coup¨¦. Since I am paying two insurances at that time can I claim the accident to both insurance company? If I have to claim to single one company then which one I should claim to.

Thank you.
so both are primary. i would think not.
You can claim the stroke of luck on either, however, I would claim the accident on the one that any has the lowest collision deductible or the one that you are discontinuing. You always want to try and enjoy the best track record with the company that currently insures you. You're departing the other company anyway. Hopefully, this helps. Good luck.

"> No, in certainty, they will ask the question in your claim if your are claiming beside more than one company. If you do they will reduce the amount they will pay. If you don't convey them and you claim both, it's insurance fraud - you can go to jail for it
No you can't claim both!
That's call insurance fraud. There are serious consciences for that, I'm sure that's not your intent just the way it played out. I'd pick the one next to the best coverage. It happened in Feb and you haven't occupied a claim yet. I thought you said it was a "big" chance? Source(s): DMV lady
