90 + days lapse of auto insurance within NY State..What immediately?

Help! My brother inlaw confided in me that his auto insurance had a lapse of 90+ days. Because it be over 90 days they told him to turn in his plates, (he has not). He is currently insured but is presently driving with a suspended license. I believe this happened in the order of a 5 months ago. My inlaws are co-signers on his vehicle. What next?

Shannon, For auto insurance the fastest way to procure a low quote is do a car policy comparison. If you choose the same coverage amounts, you can return with an fast quote to compare against others. Use the same fastener code, car make and model, mileage and driving history to ensure you go and get an apples to apples comparison. her eit cost you 250 bucks if behind a day and if you dont pay they suspend which cost you even more to start over and sure he can return with insurance but stil plates no good and when they catch him after he can pay and start over again and be even more casue he then have to pay fines at court but as for the car and human being co signer thats a loan company so it wouldnt be nothing there much
