Auto Insurance Gauging?
I live in the state of Ohio, and I have 6 points on my license. I have need of full coverage, and my lowest quote was 3177 a HALF! Thats $534 per month... If this isn not gauging, I'm not sure what is. Does anyone know who I can write to? How can I fix this? I can't possible afford this, but I want to be legal! Any help is appreciated!

my suggesting would be getting as much information as you can before taking any motion, here

is a good place for that purpose.
The reason as you know already is because you are a giant risk driver because of the points. Go to assignedriskohio.com
Each state has a program that is rule run that specifically provides insurance for people who either hold been turned down by insurance companies or for people who are first time drivers or relatives like you who have a doomed to failure history. The price will be high, but not as high as what you be qouted with a regular company. Also, try Westfield Insurance. They have a different type of auto insurance call a non-standard auto policy. It is also for people like I described above. I would try next to both places and see who comes out better. Source(s): I am a licensed insurance agent in NY,NJ,PA and OH
I'd vote go for the best deal you catch, because when it comes to the crunch you have the same rights by tenet, regardless of who you are with. However you should Check with your state's insurance department to see if who you choose to progress with are licensed to do business.

The points are killing your quote and driving the price up as a result of you human being considered a risk. I'm not trying to insult you or anything like that I'm just cliché that you'll have to deal next to the fact that you made some mistakes in yesteryear. Two things are for sure in life, you're gonna die and insurance will screw you at some point!
I'm not sure in that is anyone who will help you with this but you can other ask why the quote is so high, or call a competitor.
