2 People...same auto insurance 1 coincidence?

So how does it work if I had lets say-so Geico insurance and was in a saloon accident, and find out the other driver had Geico insurance as resourcefully. That other person is at fault, unmistakably I will be taken care of...

But how does that work?
Answers:
Even though you both enjoy Geico as your parent company, you each have a separate policy that covers you.

Just similar to if both of you get your electicity from (state name) gas and electric company, even though you have te same provider you respectively get your own separate bill.

How we do it at my company, is we set up 2 claims, one under respectively policy and assign 2 adjusters, just in travel case there is any dispute over coverage or liability.
The 2 adjusters conduct separate investigations, then collect to see if they agree on liability. In clear-cut cases, this is a very fast process, and the at-fault party's coverage take care of all damages.
If liability is complicated or faint, usually each claim handles the damages of their insured and afterwards the liability is "round-tabled," a group of adjusters review the facts and make a determination.
Every precaution is taken to make sure that both sides are treated honestly and get good service. Source(s): Claims adjuster
